Arminee grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and Vancouver, B.C. Canada. She studied French language and literature. She received a Masters in French from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Her love for music, however, showed her the path to writing her own songs and taking voice lessons. She has studied voice with very well known teachers. She has a wide range of influences from Santana to Madonna and Enigma being in the middle … The French language and Latin music have given a special flavor to her songs. This rich and unique flavor is present through out her music.

Arminee lived in The Woodlands, Texas, for several years. Soon after establishing there, she became a member of the Woodlands Symphony Chorus. She has worked in the following films in Texas: “The Gulf”, “Tin Cup” and “A Face to Kill”. In the mean time, she taught French in area colleges around Houston and at the University of Houston. She interprets her life and aspirations in her songs.

Arminee presently resides in Houston, Texas. However, she makes frequent trips to her favorite city, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In 2003 she taught French at The University of British Columbia. In 2004 she was accepted in the 2004 USA Songwriting Competition. She is a rising star who has completed her debut CD "Open Your Eyes" which has been recently released on the following websites: www.cdfreedom.com/arminee www.songcatalog.com, www.sonicbids.com/arminee. Arminee is the writer and producer of all her songs on her debut CD. She has recorded her own background vocals as well as the lead vocals. Arminee's latest projects include her very first single:
"Party Girl".

Her songs tell a story about the challenges, the hardships and the inspirations in her life. For her, there is peace in a Utopian level of life, which she believes exists for every human being. Her music has a magical feeling which, sometimes makes you want to get up and dance and sometimes you just want to remain in a trans.
